Smooch came into my life 1/21/2023. He was owned by somebody else at the barn I have been going to since July 2022 when I met Buckshot and started riding him regularly.
I can't believe I finally own a horse. It only took me until I was 54 years old to finally just do it. Unreal! I should have done this a LONG TIME AGO! My LIFELONG DREAM was to own a horse. Before my Dad passed away, we had talked about going on a wild horse round up on Blue Mountain and getting me a horse. That never happened but I got my Mustang years later through other means anyways.
When I 1st met Smooch, his name was Dwayne aka Dwayne The Rock Johnson. I had to change his name because I don't really like the name Dwayne and it doesn't fit him, so almost 6 months after a purchased him I finally came up with the PERFECT name that fits him. He always has his face in your face for kisses. He is very affectionate. I had to name him Smooch.
Smooch was a yearling when rounded up from the Devils Garden HMA in 2019. He was trained by Krissy Day, broke to ride by Krissy Day & Elise Bei who put the 1st rides on him. Smooch was owned by Gina Day. Now he is mine!
He was a coming 5 years old when I purchased him and I should have him for many, many years.
Smooch is a gorgeous Bay Roan Mustang that appears to be a different color almost daily.

I have now had Smooch for almost a year, and it has been a huge adventure for both of us. I have learned so much that I never knew about horse before, and I will never live long enough to know everything about them.
We don't know Smooch's date of birth but know he was a yearling in 2019 and had to have been born in March or April 2018. Since my Birthday is 3/29, I decided to share my birthday with him. Therefore, Smooch will be 6 on 3/29/24.
